Our children are now grown, but in transition with jobs and are actually home for part of this summer! I discovered scratch off stickers and I’m obsessed! I decided to create a small bound book for each of us with scratch off whimsy adventures underneath. Here’s the idea if you want to try it yourself! I’m looking forward to scratching off some together and enjoying some fun family time.

The steps to create: I first bound folded pieces of paper into a book using a coptic stitch. I also created a sheet of circles with the small whimsical activities inside and printed them out on sticker paper. I cut out the circles and stuck them on each page, drawing a small drawing that is a clue to the activity. I then covered the sticker with a scratch off sticker so the activity is a surprise. I also taped a quarter inside each book to scratch off the circles. The directions were on the back page. 1. Scratch off a circle and complete the activity within a week. 2 Write/draw notes to remember and share your experience. 3. In August we will have a celebration dinner, sharing photos and stories from our game. You can use these little books in different ways, but I decided to make it very low key. I hope you have fun with this idea!
